About the role
The Customer Service Assistant supports billing, client management and operational tasks while ensuring high‑quality service delivery for Bureau Veritas in Edmonton.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoicing, manage credits, handle cancellations, and coordinate deadline/request changes.
- Review file entry data to ensure accuracy.
- Provide receptionist coverage, back up Project Managers, assist with client meetings and troubleshooting, and support other departments as needed.
- Train new staff, participate in cross‑training and support overall Customer Service team success.
Required profile
- University degree, college diploma or equivalent work experience with demonstrated success in Customer Service or Lab Operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; French is an asset.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, independent yet collaborative, responsible, dedicated, positive and motivated.
Required skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic chemistry knowledge (asset).
