Customer Service Agent (6-month Fixed-Term)

About the role

This six‑month fixed‑term position supports clients by following up on current files and ensuring smooth operational flow. Reporting to the Assistant Director – Client Services, the role focuses on timely contractual amendments and high‑quality customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and analyse customer inquiries via phone or email, providing accurate information.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as claims analysts and contract advisors to identify optimal solutions.
• Review and approve or deny requests for deadline extensions, expense reimbursements, and other exceptions according to established standards.
• Follow up on incomplete files with clients and advisors to ensure timely resolution.
• Suggest and implement new work methods to improve productivity, quality, service times, and overall customer experience.
• Participate actively in daily operations to meet service deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in administration or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant customer‑service experience.
• LOMA 280, LOMA 290 and LOMA 301 certifications or an ALMI title (considered an asset).
• Bilingualism in English and French (asset).
• Knowledge of life, universal life, and accident‑and‑sickness insurance products (asset).

• Salary range of $53,590 – $66,987 CAD per year.
