Customer Experience Representative - Sales

About the role

As a Customer Experience Representative – Sales you will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Indigo stores, helping customers discover books and lifestyle products that inspire them. You will be the face of the brand, using storytelling to connect shoppers with the Indigo experience and add joy to their day.

Key responsibilities

• Create a friendly, inclusive environment for all store visitors.
• Engage customers on the sales floor, sharing product stories and curating personalized collections.
• Maintain visual standards and ensure product displays are attractive and organized.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and programs.
• Respond promptly to customer feedback and uphold health and safety standards.
• Model Indigo’s high‑performance characteristics and hold self and teammates accountable.
• Participate in continuous self‑development and provide feedback to leadership.

Required profile

• Adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn all aspects of store operations.
• Committed to delivering exceptional employee and customer experiences.
• Physically able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods and lift items up to 40 lb safely.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
