Creative Lead (Social & UGC)

About the role

Creative Milkshake is a remote‑first performance creative agency that produces short‑form ads for DTC brands. As Creative Lead (Social & UGC) you will be the final creative eye, ensuring every piece of content meets the highest quality standards before it reaches clients.

Key responsibilities

• Hold the creative quality bar by reviewing storyboards, raw footage and final edits before they reach clients.
• Provide precise, timestamped feedback to video editors on pacing, cuts, text overlays and sound design.
• Build and maintain an ad example library, creative checklists and “what good looks like” guides for the studio.
• Spot recurring editing or storyboard patterns and address root causes across the team.
• Support production with creative direction, reviewing storyboards before shoots and flagging unshootable elements.
• Participate in high‑stakes shoots at the Amsterdam studio a few times a year.
• Curate platform intelligence on TikTok, Meta and emerging short‑form trends and share inspiration with the team.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in video production, editing or content creation for a social‑first agency or DTC brand.
• Strong instinct for short‑form social content and the ability to differentiate a good ad from a great one in seconds.
• Comfort delivering specific, timestamped feedback without harming confidence.
• High EQ and ability to work in a fast‑paced, volume‑driven environment.
• Fluent English and confident presenting creative rationale to clients.

Required skills

• Video editing and post‑production.
• Content creation for short‑form platforms (TikTok, Meta).
• Understanding of paid media performance metrics.
• Design fundamentals for static assets, thumbnails and text treatments.
