Course Lecturer – Workplace Health and Safety (CORG 450)

About the role

The University is seeking a qualified Course Lecturer to deliver the Workplace Health and Safety (CORG 450) course. The position is based on‑site at Ouje‑Bougoumou and involves teaching, curriculum delivery and student assessment throughout the semester.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars and practical sessions for the CORG 450 course.
• Develop course materials, assignments and evaluation tools aligned with university standards.
• Provide guidance on occupational health and safety regulations to students.
• Assess student performance and maintain accurate grading records.
• Collaborate with the IRI teaching unit and contribute to continuous improvement of the program.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field; PhD preferred.
• Relevant professional designation or association membership.
• Teaching experience in a university or corporate environment.
• Extensive current experience developing and managing health and safety programs.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and advise on occupational health and safety regulations.
• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation.
• Experience in designing and delivering academic courses.
