About the role
The Desautels Faculty of Management seeks a Course Lecturer to teach the Consumer Behaviour course (MRKT 452 001) during the Fall 2026 term. The position involves delivering two weekly lectures, assessing student work, and contributing to the academic community.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:05 am to 11:25 am in the Bronfman Building (Room 245).
- Prepare and update course materials, including slides, case studies, and reading lists.
- Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students.
- Participate in faculty meetings and departmental activities as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree (preferred) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five taught courses or sections at the undergraduate (BCOM) level.
- Industry experience in marketing research is desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
