About the role

The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical and Interventional Sciences at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer to teach the Winter 2027 semester of EXSU 605 – Biomedical Research Innovation. The position is online and runs from January 4 to April 14, 2027.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the EXSU 605 Biomedical Research Innovation course (3 credits) to graduate students.
  • Conduct online lectures and hands‑on sessions on Mondays from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Required profile

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Research experience in biosensors, diagnostics, biomaterials, and both in‑vitro and in‑vivo work, with expertise in regenerative medicine applied to clinical problems.
  • Consistent record of publishing peer‑reviewed manuscripts in high‑impact journals.
  • Experience collaborating with medical specialists such as surgeons, clinicians, or pathologists is an asset.
