About the role
The Grader provides essential support in marking exams and assignments for a specific course (MGCR 222). This temporary position assists faculty by ensuring timely and accurate evaluation of student work. Candidates with background knowledge of the subject matter are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Mark exams, quizzes, and assignments according to established rubrics.
- Provide clear written feedback to students.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and assessment materials.
- Meet grading deadlines and communicate any issues to the course instructor.
- Assist with record‑keeping and data entry related to grades.
Required profile
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow grading guidelines.
- Background knowledge of the course subject is an asset.
