About the role
The Grader will support the instructional team by marking exams and assignments for the MGCR 452 course. This short‑term position offers hands‑on experience in academic assessment and contributes directly to student learning outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Review and grade student exams, quizzes, and written assignments according to established rubrics.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
- Maintain accurate records of grades and submit them within designated deadlines.
- Collaborate with the course instructor and teaching assistants to ensure consistent grading standards.
Required profile
- Current enrollment or recent graduation in a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to apply grading criteria objectively.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Background knowledge of the MGCR 452 subject matter is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processors, spreadsheets).
What we offer
- Hourly compensation of $16.60.
- Fixed‑term contract from 30 August 2026 to 16 January 2027.
