About the role

The Department of Linguistics at McGill University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a grader for LING 351 Psycholinguistics (Fall 2026). This part‑time position involves evaluating student work, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the instructor throughout the semester.

Key responsibilities

• Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams for LING 351 according to established rubrics.
• Provide clear, written feedback to students to facilitate learning.
• Maintain accurate grading records and submit grades in a timely manner.
• Assist the instructor with any administrative tasks related to assessment.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Interest or background in psycholinguistics or related linguistic fields.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week between September 1, 2026 and January 5, 2027.
