About the role
The Grader will support the FINE 677 course by marking exams and assignments, ensuring timely and accurate assessment of student work. This fixed‑term summer position is based at McGill University’s Bronfman Building in Quebec.
Key responsibilities
- Mark exams, quizzes, and assignments for the designated course.
- Provide clear feedback and grades in accordance with course guidelines.
- Maintain grading records and submit results by established deadlines.
- Collaborate with the course instructor and teaching assistants as needed.
Required profile
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Background knowledge of the course subject matter is an asset.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills are required beyond standard academic grading tools.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $16.60 CAD.
- Fixed‑term employment from 1 June 2026 to 31 August 2026.
- Opportunity to gain experience in higher‑education assessment.
