Corporate Controller – Canada

About the role

The Corporate Controller will lead the accounting function of a fast‑growing, technology‑driven organization based in Canada. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own end‑to‑end financial operations, from monthly close to treasury, tax, compliance and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close and consolidation across multiple legal entities and currencies.
• Lead external audits, tax compliance and regulatory filings in Canada and the United States.
• Oversee treasury activities, including cash forecasting, banking relationships and foreign‑exchange management.
• Direct revenue recognition, accounts receivable and internal control frameworks for a multi‑product SaaS business.
• Supervise payroll, benefits and equity administration across entities.
• Drive ERP enhancements, automation projects and operational efficiencies.
• Support M&A integration by aligning accounting structures and processes.
• Mentor and develop a small accounting team while acting as a trusted advisor to leadership.

Required profile

• Proven finance leadership experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with knowledge of Canadian and US GAAP/IFRS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits, tax compliance and treasury functions.
• Experience in SaaS or technology‑focused businesses is preferred.
• Excellent judgment, strategic thinking and communication skills.
