Coordinator – Apparel & Equipment for Youth Programs (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Coordinator, Apparel & Equipment will support day‑to‑day apparel, equipment, inventory, warehouse and logistics operations for the Youth Programs of Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Reporting to the Senior Director, Soccer Development, the role ensures players, coaches and staff have the gear they need to operate effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping, receiving and courier services for Youth Programs apparel and equipment.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, maintaining a clean, safe and organized environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and quarterly physical audits.
• Fulfill player and staff apparel orders, track sizing and support seasonal distribution.
• Handle equipment requests, monitor lifecycle, coordinate cleaning, storage and replacement.
• Oversee match kit inventory, distribution, laundering and game‑ready preparation.
• Provide logistical support for camps, tournaments, coach education events and special projects.
• Maintain shipping documentation, order supplies and assist with budgeting and invoice reconciliation.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics or related field, preferably in sport.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate records and shipping documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with inventory systems, purchasing processes and Microsoft Office.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented communication and ability to work with staff, coaches and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift and move equipment and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
