About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to prepare Vietnamese ethnic dishes at Pho Ngon Restaurant in St. Catharines. This is a full‑time permanent position where you will work in a fast‑paced kitchen serving a diverse clientele.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, focusing on Vietnamese cuisine.
- Adapt dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Maintain inventory and keep accurate records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean the kitchen and work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist in managing overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Flexibility, reliability and ability to work as a team player.
- Proficiency in English or French; Vietnamese language is an asset.
