Cook – Thai Cuisine

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our Thai‑style restaurant in Montréal. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals, managing kitchen inventory, and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine portion sizes and calculate associated costs.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for service.
• Order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, including options for customers with allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchen and food‑service areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Train staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for food, supplies, and equipment.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.

Required profile

• Dependable, flexible, and initiative‑driven.
• Organized with strong time‑management abilities.
• Team player able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling demanding tasks.
