Cook – Restaurant Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual in Salmon Arm. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality Canadian dishes in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory records.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including options for customers with allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, overseeing daily kitchen operations.
• Order supplies and equipment, and manage stock levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Dependable, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail with good time‑management skills.
• Physically capable of handling heavy loads, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
