About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our restaurant team in Red Deer County. The role involves preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and supporting staff training.
Key responsibilities
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for each service.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling.
- Maintain inventory and keep accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a restaurant kitchen.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
