About the role
We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen in North Vancouver. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including African and Portuguese specialties, while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to recipes.
- Adapt dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory records for food, supplies, and equipment.
Required profile
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen.
- Reliability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
