Cook – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join the kitchen team at Twin Cities Hotel in Longview, Alberta. The role involves preparing high-quality Canadian dishes and supporting overall kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for service.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2–3 years of kitchen experience.
• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client focus, dependability, and excellent oral communication.
