Cook – Full‑time Kitchen Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our busy kitchen team at BABA'S LUDHIANA WALE TAKE OUT & RESTAURANT in Vancouver. This permanent, full‑time position involves preparing high‑quality meals while supporting overall kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for each service.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes.
• Inspect kitchen and food‑service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Train and mentor staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling.
• Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory records, and manage stock levels.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Clean kitchen work areas and uphold sanitation standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, days, and weekends.
