About the role
Flamecraft Grill N Chill is seeking a reliable and organized cook to join its restaurant team in Yellowknife. This full‑time, permanent role involves preparing a variety of meals in a fast‑paced environment while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Determine portion sizes and associated costs for menu items.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory.
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas, keeping workspaces clean and organized.
- Organize buffets and banquets as required.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen.
- Dependable, organized, and a strong team player.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, repetitive environment and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work evenings, mornings, days, weekends, and overtime as needed.
