About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at Essence Of India Restaurant in Garibaldi Highlands. This full‑time, permanent role involves preparing high‑quality meals and supporting kitchen operations in a vibrant Indian cuisine setting. The restaurant also offers mentorship and a welcoming environment for young staff.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring taste and presentation standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain inventory and accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
