Cook – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at The Boss Kitchen & Bar in Banff. The role involves preparing a variety of meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. You will also train staff and accommodate customers with specific dietary needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, including options for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant cooking experience.
• Dependable, flexible, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
