About the role

Join the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform as an online Conversational French Tutor. You will work remotely, helping adult learners, travelers, and professionals develop practical spoken French skills through interactive sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one virtual tutoring sessions focused on everyday French conversation.
• Use role‑play, authentic audio, and thematic topics to improve pronunciation, listening comprehension, and cultural etiquette.
• Adapt lesson plans to each student’s needs, addressing speaking anxiety and rapid native speech.
• Leverage the AI‑powered Tutor Copilot for real‑time instructional support and lesson generation.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of practical French vocabulary, conversational grammar, and common idioms.
• Experience teaching spoken French to adult learners, travelers, or professionals.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging, friendly teaching style.
• Ability to explain polite request forms, question structures, and regional variations.

Required skills

• Fluency in French (native or near‑native proficiency).
• Proficiency with online tutoring platforms and video conferencing tools.
