Controller – Accounting & Financial Reporting Lead

About the role

The Controller will lead Alimentiv’s accounting function, providing strategic and operational oversight to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across a multi‑entity global organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the role focuses on the full accounting cycle, ERP system ownership, and compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations, journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Review and sign off financial data prepared by the accounting team, correcting discrepancies before distribution.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for audit, regulatory and governance purposes.
• Monitor close timelines, identify bottlenecks and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
• Serve as functional owner of the ERP platform, responsible for system administration, configuration and continuous improvement.
• Manage end‑to‑end payables, receivables and procurement processes.
• Ensure tax and audit compliance across all entities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
• Proven experience overseeing full accounting cycles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage ERP systems and drive process improvements.
