Controller – Accounting & ERP Lead

About the role

Alimentiv is seeking a Controller to provide strategic and operational leadership over its accounting function. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and oversee the full accounting cycle across a complex, multi‑entity global structure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations, journal entries, reconciliations and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Review and sign off on financial data prepared by the accounting team, correcting discrepancies before distribution.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for audit, regulatory and governance purposes.
• Monitor close timelines, identify bottlenecks and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
• Serve as functional owner of the ERP platform, handling system administration, configuration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee tax and audit compliance, managing relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Manage end‑to‑end payables, receivables and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting operations, financial reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Proven ability to manage ERP systems and drive process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Demonstrated experience with audit, tax compliance and internal control frameworks.
