Contract Negotiator

About the role

The Contract Negotiator will work closely with internal stakeholders and the global legal team to manage and streamline contractual processes. This role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements while ensuring compliance with technology and e‑commerce regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with company stakeholders to gather information and obtain approvals for legal matters.
• Field and respond to inquiries from various teams regarding contractual processes.
• Draft, negotiate, and revise agreements under supervision of management and external counsel.
• Review, draft, and provide legal counsel on corporate policies.
• Guide business partners on current and pending agreement negotiations.
• Support implementation of a contracting best‑practice playbook.
• Collaborate with the global legal team to develop and implement best practices and policies.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney (in‑house experience preferred).
• J.D. or bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university.
• Member in good standing of the Washington State Bar, the British Columbia Law Society, or another Canadian/US jurisdiction.
• Knowledge of technology, omnichannel and e‑commerce compliance, including terms and conditions, accessibility, consumer‑protection, and payment regulations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent organizational skills.
