Contract Associate/Assistant Faculty Positions – NIELIT Delhi

About the role

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Delhi Centre is conducting walk‑in interviews to empanel contract faculty for its North, West and East campuses. Positions are open for Assistant and Associate Faculty across a range of technical and non‑technical domains.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical lectures and practical lab sessions in the assigned subject area.
• Develop and update curriculum material, assignments and project guidelines.
• Mentor student projects, supervise lab work and evaluate performance.
• Assist in content creation, laboratory setup and maintenance.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the institute.

Required profile

• Relevant graduate degree (B.Tech/BE, MCA, M.Sc, B.Com, etc.) or equivalent qualification.
• Assistant Faculty: minimum 1 year of relevant experience (no experience required for M.Tech/M.E. holders in Electronics).
• Associate Faculty: minimum 3 years of relevant experience (1 year acceptable for higher degree holders such as M.Tech, PhD).
• Domain‑specific certifications are desirable (e.g., Cloud Computing, Tally, multimedia diplomas).
