Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will lead on‑site execution of utility and infrastructure projects, bridging crew supervision and overall project oversight. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure safety, cost, quality and schedule targets are met daily.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction execution across assigned scopes, managing foremen, subcontractors and internal crews.
• Coordinate short‑term and mid‑range plans to align with project schedules, resources and client expectations.
• Resolve field‑level issues, support decision‑making and maintain uninterrupted operations through resource planning.
• Implement the company safety management system, address incidents, near‑misses and field hazards.
• Ensure quality standards via inspection readiness, ITP execution and documentation hand‑off with QA/QC teams.
• Monitor schedule compliance, punch‑list resolution and turnover documentation.
• Act as the field interface with clients, providing daily and weekly progress updates and supporting recovery strategies.
• Lead and coach execution teams, delivering performance feedback and fostering emerging leaders.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in utility or infrastructure construction.
• Proven leadership over multi‑discipline scopes.
• Journeyman Powerline Technician (JPM/Lineman) certification.
• Experience transitioning from superintendent‑level leadership to site or project‑level oversight.
• Strong understanding of construction execution, labor management, subcontractor coordination and client interaction.
• Knowledge of schedule tracking, productivity measurement and basic cost controls.
