Construction Litigation Lawyer – Associate

About the role

Our national law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Lawyer at the associate level to join its Toronto office. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of construction disputes, supporting major projects and infrastructure clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and litigate construction-related disputes, including contract, procurement and lien claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with senior partners and client teams to develop case strategies.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration and mediation proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum of three years of experience in construction litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex disputes involving major projects and infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Required skills
