Construction Labourer and Helper

About the role

Join our Edmonton construction team as a Labourer and Helper. You will work on a variety of site tasks, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the job site runs smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials across the site.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt and other building materials.
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline installations.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications and prepare site foundations.
• Clean, pile and manage salvaged materials and remove debris.
• Handle chemical spill clean‑up and other contaminant removal.
• Operate or feed machines and equipment used in construction activities.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn on the job; prior experience is an asset but not required.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and teamwork.
