About the role
We are seeking a Construction Helper to join our team at Good Will Drywall Ltd. in Surrey, BC. The role supports residential high‑rise construction projects, handling materials and assisting on site. Our inclusive workplace provides awareness and cultural competency training for persons with disabilities, newcomers, veterans, Indigenous workers, mature employees and visible minorities.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials across various sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Clean and pile salvaged materials and perform routine maintenance work.
- Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety.
Required profile
- No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Previous construction experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in urban, high‑rise residential construction settings.
- Availability for day shifts with overtime as needed.
