Construction Coordinator

About the role

You will coordinate retail construction projects from pre‑construction through completion, working closely with contractors, consultants, landlords, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and on‑budget delivery across Southern Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate construction and renovation projects from planning through completion.
• Prepare and manage permit applications, construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, engineers, landlords, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and site mobilization.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and resolve issues.
• Track milestones, approvals, inspections, and close‑out documentation.
• Support ongoing maintenance and repair projects as required.
• Maintain accurate project records and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project coordination, architecture, interior design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and multiple construction projects.
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is an asset.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid G2 driver’s licence (or higher) and reliable vehicle for occasional site visits.
