About the role
Friendly Construction Ltd is looking for a Concrete Mason to join its team in Surrey, BC. The role involves working on new concrete pours, repairs and finishing tasks on a variety of construction sites. This is a permanent, full‑time, onsite position.
Key responsibilities
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
- Level top‑surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Apply desired finishes using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
- Apply hardening, sealing and waterproofing components.
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged concrete sections.
Required profile
- 2 to less than 3 years of concrete masonry experience.
- No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Participation in a youth‑employment program is a plus, with mentorship opportunities.
