Concrete Finisher – Full‑time Permanent

About the role

DK Concrete work is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join its Edmonton team. This permanent, full‑time position involves working on a variety of concrete projects in both rural and urban settings.

Key responsibilities

• Place concrete directly into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
• Fill hollows, remove spots, and operate power vibrators to compact fresh concrete.
• Level and finish top‑surface concrete using hand and power tools.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages to achieve desired finishes.
• Apply hardening, sealing, waterproofing, and damp‑proofing compounds.
• Repair, resurface, and replace damaged concrete sections.
• Estimate material quantities and project costs.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work in dusty, noisy, hot or cold outdoor environments.
• Willingness to relocate; relocation costs not covered.
• Criminal record check required.
