Concrete Finisher – Edson, AB

About the role

Clark Builders is seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join our team in Edson, Alberta. You will be responsible for placing, finishing, and curing concrete structures to meet project specifications while working safely on active construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Place wet concrete into forms and spread it to the required depth.
• Level, smooth, and finish surfaces, creating edges, joints, or grooves to control cracking.
• Apply architectural, exposed, patterned, stamped, broomed, or smooth finishes as required.
• Use dry pack grouting and epoxy materials and ensure proper curing.
• Plan work sequences, maintain a clean site, and collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades.
• Perform additional construction duties and represent Clark Builders professionally.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive motions, bending, crouching, or kneeling for extended periods.
• Capability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and for long hours.
• 1st‑4th year apprenticeship training or Journeyperson certificate.
• Experience in commercial/industrial construction is an asset.
• Valid first‑aid, ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 certifications are advantageous.
