Community Pharmacy Nurse – Vaccination & Health Services

About the role

Join a locally owned Pharmaprix store to provide essential health, beauty and convenience services to the community. As a Pharmacy Nurse you will focus on patient care, delivering vaccinations, health assessments and chronic‑disease support while working closely with the pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and perform point‑of‑care testing.
• Assess vaccination status and administer vaccines such as influenza, COVID‑19, pneumococcus, herpes zoster and travel‑related immunizations.
• Provide health‑service consultations for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Educate patients on the proper use of glucometers, blood pressure monitors and other self‑care devices.
• Welcome patients in a professional, caring manner and collaborate with the pharmacy team to expand nursing services.

Required profile

• Member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Familiarity with the Québec Immunization Protocol (PIQ) and travel‑health guidelines.

Required skills

• Blood sample collection.
