About the role
Ubisoft is seeking a Community Developer for the March of Giants brand in Montreal. You will shape and grow player communities, act as a bridge between players and development teams, and help drive the global success of the franchise.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute community strategic plans that align with production and marketing objectives.
- Grow existing player communities and create new engagement channels.
- Coordinate communication and initiatives across multiple global departments for consistent messaging.
- Leverage Community Managers and partner resources to produce content such as blogs, podcasts, interviews, and infographics.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the brand, organizing studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to define and report on content KPIs.
- Support beta tests, launches, and post‑launch communication, ensuring player feedback informs production.
- Produce internal reports on community activity, feedback, and expectations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in community development or management within the gaming industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional and international teams.
- Experience planning and executing community‑centric events.
- Analytical mindset to interpret player feedback and KPI data.
