About the role

Our client, a boutique law firm in Vaughan, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with at least two years of experience. The role focuses on mortgage enforcement matters while also handling a variety of commercial litigation cases, offering extensive courtroom exposure and mentorship in a collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mortgage enforcement actions from initiation to resolution.
• Represent clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare discovery materials.
• Appear in court, tribunals, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior partners to develop case strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle mortgage enforcement cases.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
