Commercial Lines Insurance Broker

About the role

Are you looking to be part of a team, actively servicing, maintaining, and helping grow both commercial and personal lines book of business.

Key responsibilities

• Service the existing book of business and earn commission on new sales.
• Manage the full customer life cycle from quote to renewal, endorsements, remarkets and cancellations.
• Respond promptly to client, carrier, and colleague inquiries.
• Conduct detailed risk and underwriting reviews to ensure accurate insurance solutions.
• Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities where appropriate.
• Submit new claim reports to the insurance carrier.
• Follow up diligently on client accounts to resolve outstanding issues.

Required profile

• RIBO licensed.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Commercial and Personal Lines brokerage.
• Proven track record servicing a book of business.
• Current knowledge of assigned markets and openness to new opportunities.
• Working knowledge of Applied EPIC (considered an asset).
