Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join our Barrie office. You will manage a mixed portfolio of commercial accounts, providing tailored insurance solutions while working autonomously within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, handling new business, renewals, endorsements, and detailed risk reviews.
• Collaborate with producers, brokers, underwriters, and carriers to ensure timely renewals and optimal coverage.
• Serve as liaison between clients and insurance carriers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Process claim reports and maintain accurate data in the Applied Epic broker management system.
• Identify and support sales opportunities, earning commission on new business.

Required profile

• RIBO license preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial insurance or underwriting.
• Strong understanding of commercial risks and ability to manage multiple accounts independently.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with business owners and decision‑makers.
• Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative approach.
