CNC Machinist – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Edmonton manufacturing team, producing high‑precision components for various industries. The role involves operating computer‑numerical‑control equipment, ensuring parts meet exact dimensions and tolerances.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine part specifications.
• Set up, adjust and operate conventional and CNC machine tools to produce components.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Document deviations, maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Repair, maintain and calibrate machine tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerance.

Required profile

• Accurate and detail‑oriented.
• Dependable and flexible with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Initiative‑driven team player and quick learner.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle up to 45 kg loads.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation and setup.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
