CNC Machinist – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Ottawa. The role involves operating and programming computer‑numerical‑control machines to produce high‑precision components for our product range.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up, adjust and operate conventional and CNC machine tools.
• Program CNC machines for each part and verify tool paths.
• Measure and lay out work pieces, using micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances and document any deviations.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring equipment.
• Record production data and report non‑conformities.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Ability to work early‑morning, day or shift schedules.
