CNC Machinist – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Edmonton facility, where precision manufacturing is at the core of our operations. The successful candidate will operate and maintain CNC equipment to produce high‑quality components that meet strict tolerances.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up, adjust, and operate conventional and computer‑controlled machine tools.
• Measure and verify machined parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other precision instruments.
• Document deviations, maintain inspection records, and produce inspection reports.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate measuring equipment and CNC machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to develop flexible manufacturing procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with CNC machining.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation and programming.
• Use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and verniers.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and blueprints.
