Clinical Resource Pharmacist – Supervisor/Leader

About the role

The Clinical Resource Pharmacist provides leadership and advanced clinical services to ensure safe and effective medication use within a specific clinical program. This position combines direct patient care with mentorship, quality improvement, and program development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services and act as a drug‑use leader.
• Lead and participate in patient safety, quality improvement, research projects, and initiatives.
• Mentor, train, and precept pharmacy staff and students.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and enhance pharmacy services, education programs, and research activities.
• Establish performance standards for staff and support professional development.
• Serve as site coordinator for the regional residency program, when applicable.

Required profile

• Registration with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and a valid NB practice licence.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with at least one year of relevant experience or completion of a postgraduate training program.
• Consistent attendance, strong work record, and ability to perform all duties of the position.
