Clinical Pharmacist and Lecturer

About the role

The University of British Columbia’s award‑winning Pharmacists Clinic is seeking a full‑time Clinical Pharmacist and Lecturer for an 18‑month leave‑replacement appointment. The role combines direct patient care with teaching responsibilities within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medication management to complex patients using a standardized approach.
• Deliver minor‑ailment, contraceptive services, administer injections and order laboratory tests.
• Develop and maintain inter‑professional collaborations with physicians, nurses and other health‑care providers.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy students on experiential placements, assess performance and give feedback.
• Contribute to clinic outreach, community engagement and pharmacy practice research.
• Assist in creating and updating operational policies related to service delivery, data privacy and technology use.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in British Columbia with the ability to administer immunizations.
• Post‑graduate training in pharmacy practice (residency, PharmD or MSc).
• Minimum two years recent experience in innovative, inter‑professional patient‑care settings.
