Client Associate

About the role

The Client Associate role supports RBC’s client experience on the branch floor, handling day‑to‑day transactions, enquiries and digital‑banking guidance. You will also act as a Primary Cash Custodian, overseeing cash operations to minimise loss while maintaining service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Engage clients upon entry, assist with transactions, new account openings, term deposits and credit cards.
• Promote and educate clients on RBC’s multi‑channel and digital banking solutions.
• Take ownership of client concerns, log complaints, and follow RBC’s “Make it Right” process.
• Manage cash ordering, redemption, end‑of‑day balancing and collaborate with other custodians.
• Identify and mitigate cash differences, fraud and other losses through adherence to policies.

Required profile

• Minimum five passes (Grades I, II or III or A, B or C) with compulsory Math and English.
• Proven customer‑service experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Strong multitasking, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
• Leadership potential and ability to influence and innovate.
• Interest in mobile and digital devices to assist self‑serve applications.
