Cleaning Supervisor – Warehouse (Belleville)

About the role

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its warehouse facility in Belleville. You will lead a team of janitorial staff, ensure high‑quality cleaning, and maintain strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with onsite client representatives and address service quality issues promptly.
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments to meet contract requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing CCS safety policies.
• Support training of new employees and oversee ongoing skill development.
• Order supplies, tools, and equipment and manage preventative maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleaning standards are met.
• Assist with cleaning duties as needed and manage radio communications.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of leadership experience in the facility services industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, sustainable products, tools, and equipment.
• Demonstrated people‑management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to handle unforeseen demands.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and other technology tools.
• Ability to pass a police background check and meet physical requirements (lifting up to 40 lb, standing/walking for the shift, etc.).
