Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety at our properties in Bracebridge. The role combines hands‑on cleaning tasks with coordination and supervision responsibilities. You will work onsite, ensuring that cleaning operations run smoothly and that any additional maintenance needs are identified and addressed promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of 1‑2 cleaning workers.
• Inspect sites and facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Recommend and arrange additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or equipment replacement.
• Assist cleaners in performing duties and provide on‑the‑job guidance.
• Establish and manage work schedules.
• Perform cleaning of windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Document cleaning activities and report any issues to management.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to support newcomers, refugees, youth, and Indigenous workers through diversity and cultural training.
