About the role
We are looking for a Class 1 truck driver to operate tractor‑trailer trucks on local and regional routes from Dartmouth, NS. The role involves delivering goods, handling customer interactions, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the vehicle.
Key responsibilities
- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly.
- Load and unload goods, handling weights up to 23 kg.
- Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and complete related documentation.
- Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to follow routes.
Required profile
- Valid Class 1/1F/A licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
- 1–2 years of local or regional driving experience.
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks and handle up to 23 kg.
- Willingness to travel overnight and pass licence, driving‑record and drug checks.
- Attention to detail and strong teamwork attitude.
